I offer event management services specialising in logistics, catering, operations, and film programming.

With experience across events in Australia and the Middle East, I ensure seamless coordination, attention to detail, and a focus on delivering exceptional experiences for clients and attendees alike.

As the operator of a state-of-the-art mobile cinema, I bring immersive film experiences to unique locations, elevating events and creating lasting memories wherever they are needed.

Our Story on the Big Screen

Art Screen Events, founded by Katrine Elliott, was born out of her passion for alternative films and independent storytelling. and is the proud recipient of the 2024 Natalie Miller Fellowship

With over 25 years of experience in the cinema industry, Katrine’s vision is clear: to curate exceptional films and events that resonate with Tasmanian audiences. She believes in the importance of celebrating independent voices, stating, “There’s never been a more important time to celebrate independent voices. We want each story to have its own platform, a special event to connect with audiences in meaningful ways.”

A standout feature of Art Screen Events is the presentation of National Theatre Live, bringing the magic of London’s West End to Tasmania’s big screens. This offering provides a unique opportunity for local audiences to experience world-class theatre in an extraordinary format.

Dedicated to showcasing a diverse range of local and international fine-art films, festivals, and special theatrical events, Art Screen Events ensures every story finds its unique space across Tasmania.

In addition to her work with Art Screen Events, Katrine serves on the board of Independent Cinemas Australia (ICA) and is a member of the Screen Tasmania Expert Advisory Group, advising on funding decisions for Tasmanian screen projects.
